Salford’s Woodwork completes batch of global projects

Huawei

Salford’s Woodwork Music has recently completed work for three major ad campaigns and two Amazon Prime Video promos.

Its Huawei-Discovery ad launched the Chinese firm’s P smart + smartphone to the German market. The music, composed by Woodwork’s Philip Kay, evoked a classic 80s adventure film score.

Kay also composed the music for two Amazon Prime Video promos, “The Great Escape: Lucifer” and “The Great Escape – Jack Ryan”, which will be aired through Amazon channels this month.

Wieden+Kennedy’s Tokyo office enlisted Woodwork to create the music for its latest Audi campaign for the newly launched A7 Sportback & A8, while in California, Woodwork continued their work for Goodby, Silverstein & Partners to produce the music for their recent Pepsi Ice The Kicker NFL advert which aired in the US in October.

Owner and Managing Director Rachel Wood said: “Woodwork has always garnered fans around the world for our commitment to great quality, interesting music in both the music we licence and the music created for visual productions.

“The last few months have seen that continue and it’s been a hugely successful few months for Woodwork across advertising as well as some of the most exciting new TV series in the US and the UK.

“We’ve had some really exciting briefs to work on which once again demonstrate our ongoing ability to create diverse and authentic bespoke musical pieces for global agencies as well as get exciting existing music out there from the best indie labels in the world.”

Woodwork Music is one of the UK’s leading music companies representing labels, artists and composers for the creation and licensing of music in visual media. It works with artists, composers and producers to create bespoke music compositions for ad campaigns and TV and film.
