The new series of Pound Shop Wars, produced by Manchester’s Nine Lives Media, starts its run on BBC1 tonight.
The documentary follows Poundworld and its competitors in the increasingly popular discount retail market.
Nine Lives made eight 30 minute programmes for the BBC, and the series runs until the end of September. Caroline Aherne narrates and Cat Lewis acted as executive producer for Nine Lives.
