Royal Canin UK and Ireland, part of Mars Petcare, has appointed Manchester-based Full Volume PR after a competitive pitch.

The agency will work with Royal Canin to launch a new canine nutrition range, focusing on educating consumers around different sensitivities that can affect a dog’s health and establishing Royal Canin as authoritative experts in canine nutrition.

Activity will include consumer research and news generation, broadcast media relations, video content creation and press office activity.

Caroline Eardley, Full Volume PR managing partner, said: “Royal Canin is a fantastic win for us, and the brief really played to our strengths in media relations. We’re looking forward to working with such a giant in pet food and nutrition and communicating their key messages to ensure dog owners know how to keep their pet as healthy as possible, via some really creative and engaging consumer PR activity.”

Roma Wilcox, Retail Marketing Executive at Royal Canin, said Full Volume’s “enthusiasm, ideas and understanding of the brief were very impressive”.

Full Volume was launched up by ex Jaywing PR / Epiphany employees Caroline Eardley and Rebecca Hallinan, and works with a number of clients across FMCG, lifestyle and retail sectors.
