North East agency Mediaworks, which has operated in Team Valley since being founded in 2007, has relocated its team of over 100 to the Honeycomb at The Watermark in Gateshead.
The move offers Mediaworks the capacity to occupy office space of up to 20,000 sq. ft and it has signed a 10-year lease.
In 2018, Mediaworks has welcomed more than 30 new staff.
Managing director Brett Jacobson said: “Having greatly increased our headcount in the last 12 months, we really needed a move to facilitate our ongoing expansion.
“As we continue our growth and keep looking for new business to help us reach our existing targets, it’s important to have a space that accommodates this and enable us to continue our development.
“The move to the Honeycomb at The Watermark gives us that and it’s certainly exciting times ahead for everyone involved with Mediaworks.”
A social space will allow the whole team take a break, while an 80-seater auditorium called The Town Hall will allow teams to deliver expert industry and marketing advice.
