Pink and Ensemble win Liverpool museums brief

Two North West creative agencies have been chosen to work on a new project for National Museums Liverpool following a competitive tender process.

Liverpool PR firm Pink Media and design and Manchester brand development company Ensemble have been appointed to launch new brand Hosted, which will focus on refining the museum group’s events division.

Nicola Pink, Director of Pink Media, said: “Pink Media is extremely excited to be working with Hosted by National Museums Liverpool as it launches what’s set to be an exciting new chapter for one of the city’s biggest names in the cultural and tourism sector.

“The team and I are passionate about driving the brand forward and getting it the media recognition it deserves in national, local, trade and business press.”

To compliment and support the PR element, Ensemble has developed a new brand including identity and supplementary promotional materials.

Martin Power of Ensemble added: “Taking a snapshot of the entire portfolio and bringing it to life through a set of collages, the identity aims to showcase the varied locations and offers through a ‘curated’ visual aesthetic, unifying the locations whilst showcasing the diverse offers and backdrops available.

“A photography-led approach became the natural solution – food, artefacts and architecture, framed in a way that shows that individually each venue is truly unique, but together the offer is unrivalled. In short, Hospitality Curated.”

National Museums Liverpool has venues such as Merseyside Maritime Museum and World Museum.

Katie Roberts, Head of Events at National Museums Liverpool, said: “When in the initial planning stages of creating the Hosted by National Museums Liverpool brand, we knew we needed a truly creative approach to its initial launch to really reflect our unique concept.

“The synergy between Ensemble and Pink Media have been fantastic and their individual approaches to putting our brand on the map have been certainly refreshing.

“Our launch campaign is just the beginning of our partnership and already, we can’t wait to see what’s in store as we continue to drive Hosted by National Museums Liverpool forward to place it as a leading name when it comes to planning events with a difference.”
