Smoking Gun has been brought in to deliver a Northern communications campaign for Little Sports Group.

The Manchester agency will handle consumer and b2b PR for the firm, which offers sports coaching to 160 primary and nursery schools.

The initial focus will be on raising awareness and driving engagement amongst parents.

“The decision to appoint Smoking Gun was an easy one, as they completely get the brand and what we’re looking to achieve. We are completely focused on getting more children to be more active by participation in more sports. As a business, we have ambitious plans to open in over 50 UK cities by 2025,” stated Craig Brennan, CEO of LSG.

He explained that the key focus was on using grassroots sport as a focus for “social cohesion, personal development, health and self-esteem.”

“Little Sports Group is a fast-growing ambitious North West based business making us a perfect match,” added MD of Smoking Gun, Rick Guttridge.

“The win is testament to both the team’s media knowledge and modern approach to helping clients grow genuine business momentum through strategic and creative communications.”
