Ladbrokes appoints North East creative agency

Ladbrokes has awarded its creative account to North East agency, Cravens.

The Newcastle agency has developed integrated campaigns for the 2018 World Cup and the upcoming football season, as well as horse racing across TV, social, digital and VOD.

“We’re delighted to be working with one of the country’s most recognisable digital and high street brands. Over the past six months we’ve been working to define the brand strategy of both Ladbrokes and its sister company Coral,” said Phil Coverdale, managing director of Cravens.

“The new creative route for Ladbrokes brings this strategy to life in a big way on TV, digital and beyond, beginning with the World Cup.”

The campaigns will feature iconic British personalities, such as Brian Blessed, Kelly Brook and Inbetweeners’ actor, James Buckley, appearing in front of the ‘bettors of Britain’ strapline.

The new 40 second ad airs from the beginning of the World Cup and will run throughout the tournament across TV, retail, press, online and social.
