Agency Spring reborn as Spring Production

Manchester’s Agency Spring has re-emerged as Spring Production, with a rebrand and new direction.

It remains part of the Denmark-based Spring Group, which made the decision to close down Agency Spring late last year.

Two staff were made redundant as a result, but the majority have moved over to the new company.

Founder and former Managing Director, Paul Iddon, has set up his own specialist firm, AgencyPSI, and continues to work with Spring Production on a consultancy basis.

The Danish group started life as a digital reprographics specialist, and now employs 250 staff across its operations in Aarhus, Ho Chi Minh City, Hamburg, Copenhagen and now Manchester.

Agency Spring’s former Creative Director, Simon Misra has been named as its UK Head of Operations:

“Be it mass graphic production or complex 3D motion, intuitive app and web development or simple versioning, the capabilities of SPRING Production are designed to act as an extended arm of the client’s business, accommodating them with cost-effective capacity and streamlined processes.”

Spring Production will focus on motion graphics, 3D visualisation, CGI, graphics and web development.

“Our German and Vietnamese offices have experienced unprecedented growth in recent years thanks to our continued investment in innovation, talent and technology,” said Lars Bo Hansen, CEO of Spring Production.

“And we see the UK as the most natural area for expansion –– it is a place ripe for development, a place where we can build stronger client relationships and enhance our competencies beyond standard offerings.”

The company works with brands including Arla, LEGO, Grundfos, JYSK and Maersk.
