Smoking Gun wins Unity Mutual brief

Smoking Gun has been appointed to handle the PR for not-for-profit organisation, Unity Mutual.

The Manchester agency will focus on PR strategy and implementation, to support the brand’s consumer PR.

Unity Mutual is part of Oddfellows and is owned by members and customers. Part of its remit is to improve the quality of people’s lives through friendship, care and charity. This will form part of Smoking Gun’s brief as it educates consumers about the benefits of its ISAs.

“Personal finance, and ISAs in particular, have received a huge amount of public and media attention recently, due to the Help to Buy ISA scheme coming to an end,” explained Rick Guttridge, Managing Director of Smoking Gun.

“In a market that is often saturated with information, we’re delighted to help raise awareness for a brand that puts trust and support at the centre of its values.”
