Hollywood legend Robert De Niro appears in the latest advert for Lancashire-based bakery Warburtons.
The two-time Oscar winner, who has appeared in films such as Goodfellas, Raging Bull and the Godfather, plays an amalgam of his famous gangster parts in the advert, titled GoodBagels.
In the ad, De Niro and his mob attempt to thwart Warburtons’ bagel sales in favour of their New York products.
Company chairman Jonathan Warburton is oblivious to their plans and believes the actor is delivering the pitch for a new film.The commercial, set in Bolton, ends with the movie star announcing that his story ends “not well”.
