Inc & Co, the digital and retail group which includes the likes of Laundrapp, Skylab, Cuhu and Brass, has announced its intention to open a new office in London.

The Manchester-headquartered group, which is led by founder Jack Mason, has recently completed a number of acquisitions of companies based in the capital, including Knomo and Chop’d.

These coincided with the launch of the Inc Retail Group, a move which the organisation said at the time would see it adding 90 jobs. Inc & Co has said that its new presence in London will enable the group to support these London-based brands and will involve the creation of a dedicated HR and people team in the central location.

Lynne Makinson-Walsh (pictured, right), Head of People at Inc & Co, said: “As we grow, and with the new acquisitions of KNOMO London and Chop’d, there has been a definite need for us to build a fully in-house people team to create a presence in London, which will grow with our companies.

“We are keen to be there to offer support, helping to build teams, develop new managers, and enable teams to grow in a way that empowers them to deliver great things. We believe that we’re all stronger together, and right now, we all need a little extra strength as we enter this critical period of recovery.”

As well as its Manchester headquarters, Inc & Co has a presence in Leeds and Bath. In 2020, it acquired sports analytics firm Insight Analysis and data specialist Wood for Trees, both based in the South West, among others.

The London office will be located at Mandeville Place in the City of Westminster – and is expected to open in time for the beginning of the gradual relaxation of COVID restrictions on April 12th.
