A consortium of 10 social housing landlords in the North West has handed a 12-month account to Thorne PR.
JV North, which collectively manages over 70,000 homes in Cheshire, Liverpool, Manchester and Preston, is bidding for funding from the government’s £1.7bn Affordable Homes Programme.
Leeds-based Thorne, which has carried out project work for JV North since 2011, will manage all communications, positioning the consortium within the sector and aiming to increase engagement with stakeholders, partner agencies and members.
Its chairman, Nigel Wilson, said: “Thorne PR will create and manage a strategic programme of activity to promote the consortium’s success to date and position us as we prepare for round two of the Affordable Homes Programme.
“We are building high quality, sustainable homes and it’s vital we demonstrate our innovative approach and the positive affect this is having on communities.”
