Level Tap, Liverpool’s first dedicated esports venue, is set to open in Liverpool ONE at the end of the month.

The venue, co-founded by Callum Wilson and Adam Rydings will have 10 console stations, 20 PCs and 2 racing simulators, for live gaming events and broadcast.

“The ability to transition seamlessly within our venue from a traditional sports bar experience to an esports arena, to split screen sofa style gaming and to a racing simulator arcade, as well as having something for those who just want to enjoy a playing an arcade game or have a bite eat is what makes Level Tap unique,” stated Rydings.

The kit has been custom-built following a partnership with AlphaSync at Ebuyer, ASUS and ROG (Republic of Gamers).

“Level Tap’s dedication to providing a home for die hard gamers and esports enthusiasts is commendable, and we are proud to be a part of this exciting new venture,” explained ASUS (OPBG) UK Marketing Director, Alan Spohr.

“By partnering with Alphasync and Level Tap, we are able to deliver an immersive gaming experience that meets the demands of even the most discerning gamers. We can’t wait to see the impact that Level Tap will have on the gaming community.”

The 6,500sqft space is being fitted out and delivered by Liverpool-based The Momentum Group. It will feature a mezzanine level where streamers or competing teams play with their gameplay broadcast onto projectors and TVs around the venue, with a lower level arena seating capacity of 100+.
