Exclusive: Shoptimised launches new fashion marketplace Find The Trend

Shoptimised new business

North East-based Shoptimised has launched a new sister business, Find The Trend, to help retailers to gain more visibility and boost online sales.

Fashion marketplace Find The Trend, which specialises in CSS and shopping performance for fashion and apparel ecommerce retailers, is set to be a global marketplace with hundreds of listings of fashion and apparel items.

Find The Trend launches with three members of staff based within Shoptimised’s existing office in North Tyneside, with plans to grow the team within the next six months.

The website for Find The Trend, which launches today, has already established relationships with high-street and high-end fashion brands. The newly launched marketplace features products from brands including Nike, Burberry, Carhartt, Hugo Boss, Ecco and Calvin Klein.

The newly launched fashion portal is a free listing service for ecommerce retailers and will operate under the legal trade of Shoptimised.

The new marketplace solution uses software technology to gather data from ecommerce retailers’ live product catalogue and automatically selects the best-performing products to list on the site.

John Cave, Director at Shoptimised, said: “We are thrilled to launch this new fashion project. We set up Find The Trend with the aim of helping ecommerce retailers in fashion to place their best- selling items in front of 10.000+ online shoppers daily.

“We use our performance software to track trending products within the retailer’s live shopping feed. We then list the products on Find The Trend where shoppers can see them. If they decide to buy, they’re automatically directed to the retailer’s site, so we don’t take any payments off consumers. Essentially what we’re doing is using our software to help both the retailer and the consumer”.

Nick McQue, Commercial Director, added: “This is an important step for us, and we’re really excited. I believe we’re proficient at what we do, and our end goal is to provide a more structured approach to Comparison Shopping Service (CSS) sites. Using our performance software, we can provide online shoppers with the latest fashion trends while boosting the retailer’s ROAS.
