Social Republic wins Avocado Company brief

Manchester agency Social Republic has won a four-way pitch to manage social media campaigns for The Avocado Company. 

The Fresca Group formed The Avocado Company in 2018 with the aim of sourcing quality, sustainably-grown fruit that is handled with care and efficiency through the supply chain.

The agency will be responsible for all campaigns across Instagram and Twitter and the contract will include a 12-month focus on organic content.

Rob Illidge, CEO at Social Republic said: “We quickly found that there’s an incredible amount of work behind the scenes, from the nurseries around the world to the ripening and packing centre in the UK.

 “We are looking forward to working with the team to promote the benefits of avocados, the brands’ sustainability focus and their character.”

We completed a four-way pitch and the experience and flexibility of the team stood out above the rest. We are looking forward to the growth of our organic content throughout the year.”
