Ways you can still engage with 2020’s Digital City Festival

There is still a multitude of ways to get involved with this year’s Digital City Festival, which takes place across Manchester in just over a month.

Whether you’re a business owner, entrepreneur, digital professional or aspiring graduate, Digital City Festival will provide a place to come together and learn from the best in the industry.

2020 will mark the first-ever Digital City Festival, five days’ worth of events focused on digital, uniting figures from digital marketing, eCommerce, tech, media and more in one place. People from across the country and beyond will be coming together to celebrate digital in Manchester.

It takes place between March 9th and 13th in venues across Manchester, featuring fringe events put on by partner organisations as well as the official Digital City Festival reception, the high-profile Digital City Expo, and the Digital City Awards.

With only a few weeks left to go until the festival opens, here are the ways you can still be involved with this event:

1. Exhibit or sponsor at Digital City Expo

Whatever your company’s level, there are opportunities to meet like-minded delegates from across a wide range of industries at Digital City Expo, hosted at Manchester Central on March 11th and 12th.

Companies will get the chance to collaborate with others and engage with the widest possible range of industry figures – as well as positioning themselves alongside some of the industry’s leading organisations.

Key decision-makers and senior professionals will be congregating at the landmark conference centre in the country’s biggest digital and tech hub outside London. What’s more, sponsors will get the chance to put their brand in front of every attendee and throw their weight behind this thriving event.

2. Host a fringe event at the festival

While Digital City Festival will be centred around its large-scale events, what will make up much of the festival will be its fringe events, hosted by partner organisations across Manchester. A number have already been announced, with more coming soon – but you can still suggest your fringe event idea.

The Digital City Festival fringe will push the boundaries of digital, tackling in-depth some of the most pressing questions in the sector – including Smart Cities, responsible tech, managing a scaleup, and so much more.

Digital City Festival will be an open platform series of events across Greater Manchester, showcasing the very best in digital from around the UK. Contact hello@digitalcityfestival.com to discuss fringe event ideas.

3. Register for free to attend Digital City Expo

Registration’s open right now for Digital City Festival – the two-day conference and exhibition bringing together Marketing Show North, eCommerce Show North, Tech Show North and the all-new Media Zone.

You can contribute to Digital City Expo simply by registering for a free ticket, which will grant you access to all four zones, as well as all speaking sessions hosted across the eight stages. The Keynote Theatre, which will be at the centre of the expo, will feature talks from names including Google’s Natasha Kosoglov; Social Chain’s Katy Leeson; and The Very Group’s Andy Burton.

Talks in the Keynote Theatre are expected to be highly popular and potentially oversubscribed, so delegates can purchase a Priority Pass via the registration system to get a queue jump.
