Newcastle Strategic Solutions is creating 80 new jobs as it seeks further growth.

The wholly owned subsidiary of Newcastle Building Society currently employs 600 staff across two offices in the North East.

The new roles will be predominantly tech focused, including launching new banks and developing new and innovative services. They are the first phase of its “tech talent” investment drive, which will see “significant and continuing recruitment” continue into 2020.

“This is a major moment in our history and development.  Proudly based in the North East, our work has earned us an enviable reputation in the market as the best at what we do,” explained Managing Director, Phil Grand.

“We’re at a significant point where we need more talented people to join our amazing team and play a key part in delivering the next chapter in the success story of our Solutions business.”

Newcastle Strategic Solutions is a savings technology and service platform, providing savings management and technology services for new challenger banks and established providers across the UK.
