Television presenter, Laura Whitmore, is to host her first ever radio show, with a new Sunday series on BBC Radio 5 live.

Laura Whitmore’s Sunday Session will air at 11am covering news, music and entertainment. She’ll be joined by guests including journalists, musicians, comedians and cultural and social influencers. There will also be a regular Sunday Roast feature, where she'll speak to an “iconic figure.”

“I’m delighted to be joining the BBC Radio 5 Live family. It’s going to be a lot of fun and full of debate and discussion over a wide range of topics. I can’t wait to get stuck in!” she said.

Whitmore has a degree in journalism and began her career as a researcher on an Irish radio station, before joining MTV and latterly hosting I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now! on ITV2.

The series runs for 6 weeks.
