Peaky Blinders gets five Bafta nominations

BBC’s Peaky Blinders has been nominated for 5 BAFTA Television Craft Awards.

The series, which was filmed in the North of England has been recognised in Costume Design, Editing (Fiction), Make Up & Hair Design, Sound (Fiction) and Writer (Drama).

In the writing category it will be up against the Rochdale abuse drama, Three Girls. 

Elsewhere, Channel X North has received a nomination for Detectorists. MacKenzie Crook is shortlisted in the Director (Fiction) section

Two Manchester shows are nominated in the Entertainment Craft Team section. One Love Manchester is listed alongside The Voice UK, which is filmed at Dock10, MediaCityUK.

Finally Peter Kay’s Car Share receives a nominated in Writer (Comedy).
