Liverpool’s Studio Mashbo is planning on further growth, following a series of client wins and two new appointments. It’s just launched the new website for bus firm, Network Warrington and redeveloped the online and mobile presence for brand agency, Capitalise in London.

Harrison Woods, a student who was offered investment in his online parking venture by Dragons’ Den duo, Peter Jones and Theo Pathitis, has joined online recruitment company, Manchester-based Woods would turn down the Dragons’ investments, when he secured cash from an alternative, unnamed angel investor.

MediaCityUK-based media services provider dock10 has appointed Emma Riley as head of business development. Riley joins from Sunset & Vine where she was head of production technology. She's previously worked at Mentorn, ITV, BBC and RDF.

Salford City Council has appointed Matt Finnegan as its assistant director for Marketing and Communications: Finnegan saw off 37 other candidates for the post said the official statement.

Julie Gaskell, the former chief executive of Super League club, Widnes Vikings has joined Parker Design in Cheshire. She will head up its business development as the Northwich-based agency seeks to expand.

Regital has appointed Hannah Atkinson, formerly of Return on Digital as it prepares for an “absolutely huge” Q4. It’s part of the ambitious expansion plans outlined by the Manchester-based digital sales house earlier this year.

Chris Marsh, formerly the Head of All The Things Nobody Else Will Do at Melbourne Server Hosting, has moved from said position to take up a new role as director of partner development at rival hoster UKFast.

Dave Monk has been appointed group creative manager for all of UTV Media’s 13 local stations. The role means he will oversee the creative teams at each of the local stations, which include The Pulse, Juice FM and Peak 107FM.

Havas PR UK has made four new appointments at its Manchester office following a series of new business wins. Account director Claire Quansah joins from MC2, where she managed accounts for a range of corporate clients, and before that worked at London agency Golin Harris.

Cheshire-based media consultancy K7 Media has appointed Phil Birchenall as project director. Birchenall, who was in a similar role at MediaCityUK-based Mediasmiths (now merged with The White Room), has been hired to expand K7's project and event capability.
