Flipbook Studio has brought in David Cordon – who has worked on Hollywood blockbusters including Avengers: Endgame and Christopher Robin – as its new Head of TV & Film.
It’s a new position for the Manchester-based VFX and animation studio, which has worked with the likes of the BBC and Netflix on programmes including as Cilla, The Worst Witch, Idris Elba No Limits and Scott and Bailey.
Cordon has previously worked at some of the world’s biggest visual effects studios, including MPC, DNEG, Framestore and Cinesite.
He said: “Flipbook’s 10-year success in the VFX industry is inspiring, and all while competing directly with London.
“I bring a professional level of production experience, high energy and a true passion for visual effects to the team, and have a strong desire to build something great here. Both Andrew and Ben (co-founders) have amazing ambition – it’s a great opportunity for me.”
