For its third annual International Women’s Day campaign, OOH media owner OPEN Media has launched a new outdoor and social campaign in association with CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! is a leading UK charity focusing on breast cancer awareness, and aims to spread the message that breast cancer can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or background.

OPEN Media’s new campaign, which launches for two weeks from today (March 8th), features a QR code which takes the public to the ‘Self-Checkout’, Coppafeel’s web app which guides people through the steps of checking themselves for the symptoms of breast cancer.

It runs nationwide and features more than 70 women from diverse backgrounds, with quotes about what International Women’s Day means to them – featuring references to the central theme of International Women’s Day 2022, #BreakTheBias.

OOH sites in Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, London and Plymouth will host the campaign, supported by a fortnight of social media content.

Harri Lowndes, Marketing Manager at CoppaFeel!, said: “We are thrilled to be part of OPEN Media’s campaign this International Women’s Day and hope that above all else people take away the message that knowing your body could save your life.”

Amy Shaw, OPEN Media Marketing Manager, added: “Our International Women’s Day campaign is a pillar of our annual strategy of People, Place and Planet – we are passionate about giving back to the communities in which our screens reside.

“We are honoured to be supporting the brilliant CoppaFeel! with the campaign this year, and helping them to raise awareness around young women prioritising their health.”
