Manchester agency wins competitive pitch for Original Cottages

Original Cottages has announced its new media planning and buying partner, following a multi-agency pitch.

The country’s largest independent holiday homes company has awarded the brief to PHD Manchester.

“Holiday letting is an extremely competitive sector, but Original Cottages has a unique offering of national scale with local expertise, so we were seeking a partner to help us become famous for that,” said Sonia Holman, Marketing Director for Original Cottages.

“What appealed most about PHD Manchester was the challenger brand thinking that they’ve applied to help us meet our objectives, together with the collaborative approach of Mark [Worth, Business Director] and the team.”

PHD will focus on driving awareness, attracting new holiday homeowners to the brand and connecting its nearly 6,000 properties with holidaymakers.

“We felt an incredible connection with Original Cottages and were keen to embrace its commitment to growing the brand while maintaining its ‘truly local’ focus,” said Worth, who will be the lead on the account.

“We look forward to leveraging PHD Manchester’s extensive experience in the travel sector to deliver data-driven campaigns that will engage and inspire audiences.”
