Status Digital

Newcastle digital agency Status Digital has made eight new hires across the business following a period of accelerated growth.

They are: Programme Director Kathryn Blight and Business Manager Roxanne Tuck, who join the Senior Management Team; Junior Front-end Developers Alex Megahy, Daniel Carrick and Kenneth Shek; Junior Web Designer Nooshin Taravati; UX/UI Designer Kori Hanson and Support Developer Russ Phillips.

The new employees bring the headcount up to 19. The agency is based at the Maling Exchange in Hoults Yard and was established in 2011. There are plans to recruit four more team members by March 2020, as well as developing the service offering, with plans for a full rebrand early next year.

Managing Director Nick Salloway said: “We are delighted to have the recruits on board. They bring with them a range of skills and experience to complement the expertise of our existing team. Importantly, they are curious and share our vision to continuously innovate, to think outside the box and find solutions that fit our modern and ever-evolving world.

“We are currently reshaping our own service offering which we will bring to market in the new year, alongside a rebranded Status Digital. I’m looking forward to sharing our plans and helping more businesses with a thirst to innovate, so they can take full advantage of the potential offered by digital technologies.”
