Liverpool’s Kaleidoscope has promoted James Kirk to managing director.

It means that Mike Edwards, will now take on more of an advisory role 30 years after co-founding the agency.

“This is a landmark year for the business, and it’s been a great opportunity to reflect on our achievements but more importantly to identify what we needed to do in order to shape the agency for the future. After a growth in fee income of 50% since 2015 the business is now primed for its next chapter and I feel it is the right time to take a step back from the day to day operations,” explained Edwards.

“James has worked closely with me over the last three years and has become an integral part of the team. He has the skills to take the business into a new phase of growth, and importantly he shares the same ethos that our success has always been based on – integrity, honesty and commitment. This made him the natural choice to be Kaleidoscope’s next business leader, and he will work closely with our talented senior management team to drive the business on.”

Kirk originally joined Kaleidoscope in 2015 as strategy director and will now focus on developing the agency across the region.

“Having the opportunity to lead Kaleidoscope into its next chapter is a really proud moment for me. In our 30th year, we know who we are and what we’re good at. We have a fantastic reputation and now have ambitious plans to build on that and move into an exciting new phase of growth,” he stated.
