Manchester’s Roland Dransfield has brought in two new recruits following a number of account wins for its consumer division.

The agency has won five new accounts: online art gallery Drella; indoor golf club The Range; The Offside Trust, which is helping victims of abuse in sport; playon, set up by Viv Anderson to give career opportunities to retiring sportspeople; and First Street Ice Rink.

The agency launched its consumer division in July and has brought in Chidi Onuoha (above right) as account manager and Amy Buckle (above left) as senior account executive. Onuoha joins from Nottingham sports agency Macesport, where she worked with clients including Vauxhall, Nissan and British Cycling.

Buckle has been recruited from fellow Manchester agency Label and has worked with high-profile retail clients such as Chanel, Mulberry and Ralph Lauren.

Roland Dransfield MD Lisa Morton (above, centre) said: “It’s been really busy here since we launched our consumer arm earlier in the summer. We’re thrilled to have won lots of new business and to be able to work with some fantastic new clients. There’s lots more to come.

“We are a growing agency and we’re really pleased to welcome both Chidi and Amy to the team – they are both proven marketing professionals and we’re confident they will add significantly to our whole offer.

“We’re celebrating our 21st birthday this year and it is exciting times here at RD. We’re confident that we’ll soon be adding more names to our client roster – both consumer and B2B.”

Roland Dransfield’s consumer division has clients including Manchester double-decker hotel Crowne Plaza/Staybridge Suites and The Slate Yard. It is headed up by recently appointed head of consumer Adam Moss.
