Grizzly Bear Design has created a new brand identity to support the launch of a new website and resource centre. The tagline ‘creative goods for creative folk’ reflects the agency’s niche, which is website design and online marketing for businesses in the creative industry.

Run by directors Adam Costello and Alex Jones with three staff the agency is based in Hope Mill on Pollard Street and has recently moved to a larger unit for their expanding team.

Costello said: “Grizzly Bear Design has been established for four years now, but we thought it was time to really develop our niche. The majority of our clients work in a creative industry whether that is photography, the music industry, or owning an independent bar or café, for example. We find that clients with a strong creative streak really appreciate good quality design and branding, and therefore understand how a strong visual identity can help them market their own businesses.

“Our new branding has a slightly vintage look coupled with a modern typeface and uses lots of soft colours. It conveys that we are a really down-to-earth bunch and pretty creative and arty.”

Phase two of the website has just been launched, which is an ecommerce shop, enabling creative businesses to buy off-the-shelf products like pre-made logos, WordPress themes and marketing packs.

Unlike a standard off-the-shelf purchase, the Grizzly Bear Design team say they are there to help non-techies through every step of the way, as well as running training sessions on how to use WordPress and SEO.
