New visual identity for Buy Art Fair

bafDesign agency Modern Designers and cultural specialists Creative Tourist have unveiled a new visual identity for Manchester’s Buy Art Fair.

The events - coming up on the 24th September - has been running for eight years and attracts more than 7,000 visitors to the city.

The designers describe the new identity is “simple and confident”, and is intended to position Buy Art Fair as the most dynamic outside the capital.

Creative director at Modern Designers, Mat Bend explained more: “Buy Art Fair is one of the few art fairs that cater for all tastes, and we tried to reflect that through this flexible identity system.

“We’ve used the way people arrange and hang art as inspiration, creating set of ‘frames’ that can adapt and change through many different applications, from the main exhibition space through to signage and maps."

Manchester’s Buy Art Fair returns to Old Granada Studios on 24-27 September 2015.
