BJL has been appointed by Acorn Fostering Services to devise a new awareness-raising campaign later this year.

The Manchester agency is tasked with helping to drive enquiries and increase the number of foster carers registered with Acorn throughout the Midlands and the North.

BJL’s work will include traditional and digital media, as well as the creation of support material for social workers.

James Burton, marketing manager at Acorn Fostering Services, added: “BJL’s combination of enthusiasm and expertise when it comes to raising awareness around sensitive issues made them the clear choice to work with us to encourage more people in a position to help, offer invaluable foster support to children dealing with challenging circumstances.”

BJL previously worked on an award-winning Being Family campaign for Yorkshire and Humber Adoption Consortium.

Steven Nicholson, senior account manager at BJL, said: “Helping organisations with an interest in supporting family planning and child support is an area we have both a passion and a proven track record in delivering and we’re delighted to be in a position to use our expertise and insight to help Acorn with their awareness raising objectives.”
