Events and media company, aps, has relocated to offices in Abney Hall in Cheadle.

Its 29 staff are moving from West Didsbury to 11,000sq ft of office space in the Grade II listed building.

“Our business was outgrowing The Old Town Hall in Didsbury and we were keen to find a new home that could accommodate our expanding operations whilst retaining the same character,” stated aps director Julie Kelson.

“No two rooms are the same at Abney Hall. With features including wood panelling, stained glass windows and period fireplaces, it ticked all the boxes. It reflects our brand perfectly and I’m looking forward to injecting some of our personality into the space.”

The Hall is currently undergoing a £1m refurbishment by owners Bruntwood and further businesses are expected to start moving in over the coming months.

Abney Hall was once Bruntwood’s head office and has since been used as a filming set, including for the new BBC drama, Our Zoo.
