Manchester-based consultancy PR Agency One has been appointed to raise awareness of a new business finance and growth hub for small businesses called Gateway2Enterprise.

Founded by serial entrepreneur Karen Gould, Gateway2Enterprise is a way for SMEs to source finance, alternative funding solutions and other business support services and resources needed to start and grow a business.

Gould said: “PR Agency One has a strong PR strategy for us and we’re delighted to get started with them. The team have extensive knowledge and experience working with digital platforms and we look forward to seeing their creative ideas in action.”

The services offered include advice and support to entrepreneurs on planning, funding and developing a business such as producing a strong business plan, improving cash flow or getting people ready to pitch for finance through venture capital financing.

Members of Gateway2Enterprise can also use the online hub to speak one to one with professional business angels, who are on hand to provide invaluable advice on running a successful business.

PR Agency One will provide a combination of thought leadership campaigns, creative press office activities and digital PR to drive traffic to the new website and raise awareness of the business.

PR Agency One MD James Crawford said: “Karen Gould is a very successful entrepreneur and Gateway2Enterprise will be a useful resource for small businesses seeking support. We will be using a combination of traditional, online and SEO PR techniques to raise the website’s profile in order to increase awareness of the brand. Digital PR is an essential part of our PR strategy and we’ll be using it to drive traffic to the Gateway2Enterprise website through the building of links, social shares and by improving search engine visibility.”
