Commercial law firm Berg appoints Manchester communications agency Havas PR.
Berg which specialises in banking and financial regulation has over the past four years developed a specialism in banking in the field of interest rate swap advice. Now Havas PR will be assisting Berg with raising awareness of the mis-selling issue, which has affected hundreds of businesses throughout the UK including telecom manufacturer Amstrad plc, owned by Lord Alan Sugar.

The account will be headed up by associate director, Jonathan Welsh of Havas PR’s Manchester office. “It is a fantastic account to work on and a great addition to our corporate offering. We look forward to working with Berg on raising awareness of this issue, which is having such an impact on some SME’s”.
Havas PR, which also has offices in Edinburgh and London, specialises in campaigns for clients in a variety of different sectors.
