IFE Services has been appointed by LOT Polish Airlines and Helvetic Airways as their in-flight entertainment provider.
It’s been a strong few weeks for the Knutsford-based firm, which was also signed up by TUIfly Nordic and became the leading African content supplier following a deal with Emirates. This will mean it manages all data encoding requirements for the delivery of the movies – the Nigerian film industry is the second largest producer of films in the world (in terms of the number made).
The company supplies films, television programmes, audio, games, apps and safety films to more than 50 airlines and cruise lines around the world and over the last few months has had particular growth in emerging markets, such as Latin America, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
In addition to its headquarters in Cheshire, it also has offices in Madrid, Singapore, Santiago, Johannesburg and California.
