McCann Worldgroup names Manchester as its agency of the year

McCann Manchester has beaten more than 500 other McCann offices worldwide to be named the Group’s global agency of the year.

The internal awards recognise excellence across 10 categories and is open to all agencies within the Group.

“This is a remarkable achievement and we’ve beaten off incredibly stiff competition from McCann Worldgroup agencies. It is a testimony to the great people we have and the tremendous work we do for our clients,” said McCann Manchester chief executive Sue Little.

“It is also fantastic recognition for the breadth and depth of creative industry talent in the North West as a whole.”

McCann Manchester has also picked up the global prize for effectiveness for its work for Aldi.

The ceremony takes place later this month in New York.
