Branded3 is an award winning agency based in Leeds, London and Bath that produces creative campaigns and innovative digital solutions.
We have a wide roster of clients across many industries, including brands such as Johnson and Johnson, Durham University, Confused.com, Illamasqua, CollectPlus, FirstDirect, Halfords, Ladbrokes, Virgin and many others.

The Creative Team at Branded3 is a multidisciplinary group of Digital Designers, User Experience Designers and front-end Developers, who work hand-in-hand with the internal PR and Content teams to produce innovative, engaging and results-driven design for our clients. We produce creative solutions across a wide variety of outputs including digital content assets, interactive games, website designs and social campaigns. It’s a busy team in a growing area of the business, where no two days are the same.

To support this growth, we are looking for an experienced multi-disciplinary UX and Digital Designer to come on board and join the Creative Team.

Role and responsibilities

• Leading on projects across the full project lifecycle – from initial research, leading creative brainstorms and writing creative briefs, to User Experience activity, wireframing and design
• Working from wireframes to create a range of cross-platform design work
• Working collaboratively with Content, SEO, PR and Development teams to deliver digital output of the highest quality and to brief
• Producing cross-device design files for handover to UI / Front-end developers
• Assisting the Head of UX and Design in the planning and execution of UX research projects
• Art-direction on projects including client interview, research and mood-board creation and presentation
• Staying on track with emerging digital and usability trends and culture, attending events and engaging with the wider digital creative community
• Articulating and presenting creative ideas/treatments to teams and clients
• Guiding and supporting junior team members.

Skills and experience

• Agency experience in designing cutting-edge websites, interfaces and/or digital campaigns
• An exceptional online portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts and highly considered visual executions
• The ability to talk through your thought processes and approaches in terms of your work
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (with specific emphasis on Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
• Expertise in interactive wireframing and prototype software such as Axure
• Expertise and experience in planning and conducting UX research activities – including user personas, user research and testing, usability site audits, persona creation, user-journey planning and IA
• A proven understanding of usability, user psychology and behavioural trends, including cross-device and demographic variances
• Knowledge/understanding of HTML and CSS can be beneficial but is not always essential
• Proven understanding of typography, layout, colour and grid structures
• High attention to detail.

It would be advantageous to have:

• A sound understanding of modern SEO practice
• An understanding of modern content strategy approaches
• Illustration / video production / After Effects / animation experience
• Print production experience.
