For this exciting new role, the successful applicant will be an integral member of the Amaze Resourcing Team and be responsible for ensuring the Technical and QA departments (circa 70 people) are resourced with both profitability and quality in mind.

Responsibilities:

The successful the applicant will be expected to:

– Liaise with the Senior Technical Team and Programme Managers to understand client requirements and facilitate effective resourcing decisions based on discussions with the Technical Leads
– Review new client resource requirements and work closely with the Senior Technical Teams to resolve any immediate problems
– Manage the relationships and operations processes with our Outsourcing partners on behalf of the Technical and QA departments
– Work closely with Technical Department and Practice Leads to ensure fair resourcing decisions, that are aligned with personal development plans
– Maintain a department level view of skills and experience to support new resourcing needs
– Work closely with Programme Managers to ensure pipeline resource requirements are accurately reflected in capacity plans
– Keep abreast of project progress with Project Managers to foresee any major changes in resource requirements
– Manage the effective utilisation of available Technical and QA resource on a daily basis
– Work closely with the Amaze Recruitment Team to ensure new Technical and QA hires have the required skills and experience
– Review department chargeability reports and work closely with department heads to understand and resolve any issues

Skills Required:

– Experience of working within a Resource or Project Management role, delivering digital projects and products across the full delivery lifecycle
– Good knowledge of different software systems, digital technology, architectures and compatibility requirements
– Proven ability to manage and communicate confidently with technical teams, key stakeholders and clients
– Good knowledge of testing and quality management activities and technologies
– A good understanding of cross-project resource forecasting, planning and analysis
– Able to work well with data and use appropriate reporting and analysis tools
– A high level of self-organisation, motivation and management independence
– A proactive and “can do” attitude
– Attention to detail and focus on quality
