hômejames requires a technical project manager in order to improve the efficiency of communication between client services and development. This role will be pivotal in planning projects to make sure that we make the best use of resource and time whilst demonstrating clear goals and punctuality to our clients in delivery of projects.

The role requires:

  • Previous experience in an agency environment
  • A background in development (whether as a developer or in a management role)
  • A clear understanding of project methodology (waterfall, agile)
  • A track record in delivering projects on budget and in good time
  • Understanding of risk and change management

Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and documenting project requirements
  • Updating client services on project statuses
  • Delivering documentation of project plans and updating and maintaining those plans through the full project lifecycle
  • Managing resource effectively – including external suppliers
  • Managing test cycles
  • Developing and improving existing processes for development
  • Reporting on the development team’s monthly work load, efficiency and making recommendations to improve workflow

The ideal candidate would have:

  • PRINCE2 or comparable qualifications in project management
  • A degree in computer science, project management or a related field

The successful candidate will report to the technical and client services directors and work

on projects involving all aspects of digital that work with development to create cross platform and multi-channel digital products for some of the UK’s top gaming, financial and retail websites.
