Here at The Book, we think we’re a fun, creative and lively bunch. We enjoy what we do and the highs and lows of recruitment keep us coming back day in, day out.

So what is it that we actually do? We find the best creative and digital candidates for our client’s vacancies – that’s recruitment.

We’ve been doing it for over 10 years and our clients and candidates tell us we’re pretty good. The sorts of businesses we deal with range from advertising, design and digital agencies to banks, professional services and retailers who have in-house creative and digital teams.

Along with our sister company we’ve got around 25 people across Leeds, Manchester and London, all focussed on making our business a success.

What you’ll need to get done

We’re a sales business so you’ll be focused on making sales for our business. In recruitment that means connecting candidates to clients.

This involves everything from sourcing and meeting candidates, talking through their experience and portfolios to making cold calls to clients to pick up briefs and then managing the recruitment process through to offer.

Of course there’s a lot more to it than this but you can be reassured that we have a great team of mentors and managers here that will help you every step of the way and make sure you keep on the right tracks.

A bit about you

Of course, ultimately your success is entirely down to you. This is no 9 to 5 job. You will get out of it what you put in. You should use the top performing people in our business as your benchmark and make sure that you follow their great example.

All in all we’re looking for a bright, enthusiastic and ambitious individual to take on this opportunity. You’ll need to have a minimum of 12 months B2B sales or recruitment experience, with a genuine interest in design and creative.

We offer a good basic salary with uncapped commission and regular promotions based on your personal achievement.
