Music Consultant, Manchester – 12 month maternity cover

Working from our Salford office at Mediacity, the main focus of the role will be creative support for production teams using our catalogue. You will be responsible for managing relationships with Audio Network’s top editors and music users, within the broadcasters as well as large production companies, and post production houses.

As part of the wider European Music Consultant team, you will focus on the defined sales metrics of acquiring new accounts, adding new users to existing accounts, driving users to the website and improving their download volumes to lead to overall revenue growth.

In addition, you will be responsible for the daily running of the two person Manchester office, and will be managing a single member of staff.

You’ll be…

Taking ownership of all UK TV editors and music users in relation to their usage of the core catalogue.

Managing your own time and creating a solid pipeline of new and existing clients to target.

Attending and presenting at external customer meetings, events and functions, to aid business development.

Tracking and reporting based upon customer requirements and sales metrics on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis and acting on these findings.

Developing innovative ways to engage with clients and help promote best practice.

Overseeing the smooth running of our Manchester office, whilst maintaining relationships with industry bodies and contacts across Mediacity UK.

Providing management to the Manchester Music Researcher, working together on wider projects, as well as supporting them on a day to day basis.

Who you are…

You’ll have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience within the creative industries in a client facing role

A people person – amazing at maintaining relationships and building new ones

Trustworthy, loyal and an all-round great person to work with

You are a huge TV enthusiast (geek!) and want to share your passion (and ours) with other people
