We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team and help maximise our marketing of Don’t Panic and our events.

The role would involve:
– Management of day-to-day comms, including email marketing, social media and outreach to new and existing databases
– Liaising with event managers to ensure successful delivery of events
– Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company/event website
– Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
– Utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC
– Overseeing the social media strategy for each event and the Don’t Panic brand
– Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital and traditional marketing
– Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data
– Evaluating website analytics and tracking conversion rates
– Generating monthly marketing reports for each event and Don’t Panic
– Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing

Requirements of the role
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing or Business
• Experience of managing PPC, SEO and Affiliate programmes.
• Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
• Experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media
• Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role
• Experience of managing a team
• Analytical and organised
• Works well managing multiple projects

You will have brilliant interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organised, be able to multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same. You should be able to think creatively and commercially about varied markets. If you can keep a cool head and work to deadlines, we want to hear from you!

Please note our offices are based in Ramsbottom, Bury, which is not easily accessed by public transport so unless you live locally you may need access to a car, although a driving licence is not essential for this role.

We offer 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays and shutdown at Christmas. Our office hours are 8.30 – 4.30 with flexibility around these hours. There is free parking and additional benefits include a pension scheme, duvet days, limitless supply of coffee from our Nespresso coffee machine and breakfasts on Mondays!
