Established in 1925, we are the UK’s premier supplier of quality fashion accessories, providing a bespoke Design and Sourcing service to the major High Street Retailers and Supermarket chains, as well as offering through our Wholesale Division, a range of products to smaller independent retailers, chains, and stores.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Marketing Executive, looking for a hands-on role with responsibility and the chance to really make a difference. This is a new and exciting role, with considerable scope to help shape the business. Our ideal candidate must be ready to hit the ground running.

The role is focused on driving a number of campaigns, projects, and initiatives to help develop the identity of Boardmans. This will include planning, developing, and implementing effective marketing campaigns; improving the usability, design, content, and conversion of the company website; and developing and managing content based social networks.

This role requires a true marketer, a candidate who can offer research, insight and bring creativity to campaigns that also deliver ROI. It’s a challenging vacancy but will suit a strong communicator with excellent organisational skills

What you’ll be doing:

• Coordinating and managing a variety of marketing activities across a multitude of channels, ranging from digital activity such as social media, website content, and email campaigns, to offline channels

• Keeping abreast of new technologies and developments in social media to gain maximum exposure and as a result increase business

• Provide and publish relevant and engaging content in line with business needs

Experience and requirements:

• Applicants will ideally have experience within a similar role and be able to demonstrate a portfolio of both print and digital design work and a good track record in creating and rolling out targeted marketing campaigns.

• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Illustrator and Photoshop

• Strong design and marketing background, covering both on and off line

• Ability to analyse and interpret data to help improve your campaigns

• Ability to multi-task, think pro-actively & creatively
