Working across the Global portfolio, Marketing Executives support the Regional Marketing Managers and Head of Regional Marketing to drive best in class marketing for their geographical area, which delivers business and brand growth and is always relevant and exciting for our audiences.

What you’ll be doing…

You will be the Marketing expert for the North West and Yorkshire, owning delivering and communicating the Marketing agenda.
You’ll split your working week between local sites to ensure you are fully integrated with each station and are recognised as their Marketing expert.
You’ll work closely with the Regional Marketing Manager to build and deliver stand out annual campaign-based through-the-line marketing plans for all Global brands across your area as required.
You’ll become an expert in the insights and data for your area to ensure you are working strategically to identify the best opportunities to maximise potential for growth of our Global brands.
You will utilise the full marketing mix, to maximise the impact of your plans, integrating digital marketing and ensuring it is front of mind for all campaigns you deliver.
When appropriate you’ll develop locally focussed campaigns for your area, which will be designed to drive brand awareness, consideration and trial.
Using brand tool-kits you’ll deliver key network campaigns, making them locally relevant and ensuring these are both delivered strategically and measured effectively.
You’ll develop brand relevant low/no cost or contra partnerships to deliver innovative, creative and cost-effective solutions, helping us to build on national campaigns and regional priorities.
You’ll ensure all campaigns have KPIs and targets defined, undertaking both qualitative and quantitative post-campaign evaluations to show that best in class activity and value is always delivered and strategic objectives have been met.
You’ll recognize tactical opportunities across your area and work with your internal stakeholders to optimise them.
You’ll immerse yourself in your stations’ local Breakfast Shows through supporting content production and tactical promotion.
You’ll work with the Central Comms Team, identifying opportunities and ensuring any press communication supports the overall marketing strategy.
You’ll manage a Marketing Co-ordinator who will be instrumental in campaign delivery and ensuring that agreed strategies and plans are being brilliantly executed across all required channels.
You’ll use best in class remote management practices to ensure your Marketing Co-ordinator is fully engaged at all times.
You will continually develop your Marketing Co-ordinator, identifying training and objectives that support their growth and career development.
You’ll act as brand guardian, being the first port-of-call for all marketing enquiries and advice from your stations.
