Manchester Fertility is one of the UK’s longest-established private infertility clinics. Founded in 1986, over 4,000 babies have been born thanks to the expertise of its team, made up of leading experts specialising in the field of infertility and its many causes.
Due to continuing expansion and success, the company is now looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and driven Marketing Communications Coordinator to join is growing team at its headquarters in Cheadle, Cheshire.
Implement, under the direction of the senior management team, a marketing strategy to help with the communications of the entire business.
Help develop and maintain Manchester Fertility’s online presence, including the website – e.g. contributing and uploading new or updated content – and be on-hand to make further suggestions for improvement.
Manage and update all social media channels – including the development and maintenance of social advertising campaigns – and engage wherever possible as well as protect the brand’s reputation.
Develop and deliver e-marketing campaigns and newsletters, including monitoring analytics and suggesting iterations.
Develop, draft and issue news releases in liaison with suppliers and relevant teams at Manchester Fertility, as well as dealing with all media and advertising enquiries.
Proactively seek out and secure positive editorial opportunities for Manchester Fertility in key media, both locally and nationally.
Assist with all of Manchester Fertility’s promotional literature, i.e. copy, design and print of brochures, leaflets, slideshows – ensuring all marketing material is up-to-date.
Liaise closely with all key departments to ensure news and updates are shared with all of Manchester Fertility’s target audiences, helping to keep the clinic’s external communications fresh and relevant.
Coordinate all events, i.e. trade shows, from stand design to accompanying marketing materials and managing associated budgets.
Lead on day-to-day liaison with key suppliers, e.g. designers, copywriters, web support, printers, PPC managers, etc.
Act as general marketing advisor and coordinate with senior management team on all internal and external communications activity.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Minimum two-four years’ experience in Marketing or Communications in a professional environment
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant theme, such as PR, Marketing or Communications
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
Excellent project and time management skills – a self-starter, able to confidently meet deadlines and handle a varied task list
Computer literate and an ability to learn new systems quickly
Experience of public relations and events management would be a huge advantage
Reliable and confident – able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
