• We are looking for a talented, Community manager to come on board to help grow the business and engage the community; with a lot of potential to grow internally within the Leeds Dock estate.

Overview

The aim to work to improve the working environment and community within the space. To generate and maintain client relationships and ensure the successful continuation of business operations across the site.

Main functions

1. Generating business development for space – leads, partners, events;
2. Events – procure and manage;
3. Managing member / partnership relations;
4. Operationally – undertake tours & sales, upkeep of space;
5. Assist with senior management and heads of department;

5. Assist with senior management and heads of department;
6. Developing services that support incubation of member businesses; an
7. Understanding of the co-work/enterprise market – client, value drivers and trends.

Other functions

Marketing

• Content creation – writing blog posts/articles/newsletters/communications material & material for social media;

• Social media marketing – creating/managing & growing the company’s presence through blogs, twitter & other strategically relevant properties;

• Events & event planning – attending events in your city (often outside of the core hours) and planning meet-ups for your community;

• PR – help support PR functions relating to space;
• Customer Relations – Responsible for first point of support;
• Analytics – providing reports on metrics and find new ways to improve;

• Business Development – find & source new leads for tenants, events and brand ops, initiating & negotiating partnerships which drive revenue, ensuring efficiency & consistency in the delivery of financial management, budgeting & reporting/cash flow/payroll& booking/debt collection.

Operationally

• Space/facilities management, ensuring space is always fit for use, attractive, tidy, well signed & appropriately stocked;

• Support ongoing process of co-design to refresh the space/furniture including developing partnerships & consulting members to ensure the hub remains truly innovative workspace;

• Support managing relationships with suppliers & legal contractors;
• Ensuring building security/upkeep & maintenance/health & safety including risk assessments;

• Point of contact for technical issues/queries from senior management;
• Ensuring efficiency & consistency in the delivery of financial management, budgeting & reporting/cashflow/payroll & booking/debt collection, invoicing & responding to member enquiries, tariff charges, liaising with FD/Accountant to ensure prompt completion of company secretarial responsibilities;

• Responding to and activating on member needs concerns & aspirations, enabling member networking through recommendations, helping to develop services that support incubation of member businesses.

Key Skills

Outgoing personality, writing skills, social media experience, interest in industry, a willingness to work around the clock, technical / help-desk / administration, communications/marketing/PR/content.
