CTI Digital is looking for an enthusiastic project manager to manage the delivery of concurrent web development projects. This permanent role is suited to a very organised, proactive person, who can communicate well with external clients and internal staff.

The purpose of the role is to manage key client projects to ensure delivery of web solutions within agreed timescales, budget, scope and quality expectations.

The role has the potential opportunity of progressing to a senior project manager position working on larger web development projects.
Interest from candidates looking to move into project management is welcomed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee multiple projects through all phases of development, from initiation and planning to execution, to monitoring, control, handover to support and closure.
Manage day-to-day activities of the project delivery team to ensure each project remains on schedule and on budget.
Create, maintain and track project plans and schedules, cost estimates, revenues, risk and issue logs throughout the life of the project.
Offer leadership, guidance and motivation to project team members while resolving internal conflicts.
Provide feedback in terms of project updates, risks etc to account managers and the commercial team.
Organise and conduct project team meetings, including daily Scrums and retrospectives.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
Maintain effective communication and working relationships with the client, all stakeholders and project team members.
Ensure that appropriate project documentation is created and maintained.
Contribute to the improvement of business processes, methods and techniques.
Willingness to travel occasionally to client meetings.

Skills and Competencies

Essential

Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, in client-facing and internal environments.
Highly self-motivated in order to drive projects forward, with strong organisational skills, and able to operate under tight deadlines.
Use critical and analytical thinking to effectively solve problems.
Able to balance the completion of independent work assignments with the management of staff.
Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Keen eye for detail and ability to spot trends.

Desirable

Experience in the Digital Sector.
Proficiency with industry-standard project management tools and an aptitude for project accounting.
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
Experience using AGILE methods and Scrum.
Understanding of e-commerce requirements and solutions.
Proficiency with Atlassian project management tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
