Here at Havas Lynx, our aim with every piece of work that we do is to initiate and drive Helpful Change. It’s our motto and we live and breathe it. In healthcare communications we’re lucky enough to be able to work each day on strategies and campaigns that make a real difference to people’s lives. Our customers may be patients, they could be carers of patients, or they could be the Healthcare Professionals that make treatment decisions on their behalf. Our role is to make all of their lives easier and to provide information, education or tools to assist them.
To bring about helpful change, it is crucial that we have a thorough understanding of our client’s business, objectives and research needs, and this is where our Insights & Planning team come in. We need to understand the marketplace, and more importantly the people involved; what they feel, what they do, why they do it and how we can support them. Due to our success and growth, we’re seeking an Insights Manager with previous experience to join this team.
For this role, we’re looking for someone who can go from proactively making research suggestions, through to owning proposals and client discussions, to actually carrying out hands on digital research. You should enjoy pulling together research outputs, which not only meet the client’s brief but exceed it. Working closely with 3 other researchers day to day, you will direct the offering of your team, as you plan research projects internally, outlining the format, data and flow of presentations, making sure that your team’s recommendations are in line with the client’s overall strategy.
At Lynx, we operate in multidisciplinary teams so you can expect to work with a variety of people, including experienced account handlers, creatives and technical professionals. Alongside the accounts team you will support client relations where needed, making sure that the research function is appropriately represented at all times. We like our clients to meet our experts so you can also expect to be involved in building strong client relationships and attending overseas meetings where necessary. When you’re back in the office, you’ll build internal relationships as you input to creative briefings and direct campaign activity. As part of your role you will also work closely with Senior Planners in your team to help mentor and develop the more junior members of your team.
We would like to hear from applicants who already have some experience in a commercial research role, either from the healthcare communications and pharmaceutical sector, or from a consumer marketing environment. You should be a confident and articulate presenter and be able to communicate your research findings succinctly and accurately both verbally and in written form. Personality and team fit is really important to us – we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about their career and keen to develop.
You can anticipate being busy in this role, and while we work hard, we play hard too. Lynx offers not only an incredibly friendly, supportive and social environment, but also, access to experienced, celebrated, senior professionals who as your senior colleagues will also naturally become your mentors. Couple that with an extensive learning and development programme in #LXAcademy and we’re convinced that this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to continue to be challenged and continue to develop their expertise.
