We work with some of the foremost drama companies, writers and directing talent in the industry, both new and established. At a critical time for drama production in the UK, the BBC is making a renewed commitment to giving new writing talent from a range of backgrounds the opportunity to develop and grow. The role of Head of New Writing has been created to ensure that the BBC is the most attractive, enabling and inspiring home for new writing talent that we can possibly be.
