Milexa is offering a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Head of Marketing to take full control of digital marketing activities and drive growth in a fast-paced business that is expanding internationally. You will also become a member of the senior management team, contributing to and making decisions on the wider commercial strategy for the business.

The role of the Head of Marketing is to execute a challenging agenda that shapes our digital future and establishes us as the leading brand in each space we occupy. Working across three company websites, you will develop and implement the marketing strategy for the company, with a major focus on acquisition and conversion. You are
expected to be proactive and take ownership of all things digital at Milexa, guiding and spearheading activities to deliver results in line with company targets.

Expert knowledge and experience in search marketing is critical for this role and central to achieving our marketing goals. The primary objectives are to increase brand awareness, sessions, conversions and ultimately revenue and ROI across all digital channels. One of your initial projects will be to recruit new digital team members to help deliver on your plans.

You will be an integral part of a hyper-growth SME with global ambitions. Reporting to the Managing Director and
joining the senior leadership team, you will be integral to driving further expansion in an organisation already at full sprint and should be prepared for and excited by this opportunity and challenge. You will also work closely with the Brand, Digital PR and Tech team members to help deliver on your plans.

Primary Metrics & Accountabilities:
– ROMI (Return on marketing investment)
– CAC (Customer acquisition cost)
– P&L from marketing activity
– Conversion metrics (conv rate %, no. of conversions)
– User & session metrics

Job Responsibilities:
– Overall accountability for marketing performance at Milexa
– Develop and execute a multi-channel growth strategy that delivers company objectives and vision
– Plan and execute a leading acquisition and conversion strategy
– Ensure search strategy and technical SEO (on and off page) is perfectly aligned with current best practice
– Manage external agency partners to ensure PPC and CRO performance and targets are achieved
– Oversee paid search management and execution on social and other advertising channels
– Effectively build, mentor and lead digital marketing team to deliver results
– Work with other teams including Web Development, Brand, PR and Inbound Sales.
– Conduct data analysis, customer and channel research to inform strategy and identify new opportunities
– Continuous review and development of all online channels to maximise sales and customer experience
– Manage budgets and provide analysis and reporting on performance of KPI’s and ROI
– Acknowledge, share information and utilise latest developments in the digital marketing industry
– Contribute to company’s strategic direction and commercial decisions for the whole business as part of senior management and board meetings

Skills, Experience & Requirements:
– Minimum 2 years experience in a marketing management role or similar
– Experience in e-commerce and track record of executing digital strategies that achieve multi-channel growth
– Ability to lead, collaborate, develop and manage internal team and external partners to deliver results
– Superb knowledge of latest strategies, concepts and best practice across all digital channels
– Strong knowledge and experience in using Google Analytics and other analytics tools
– Good organisational, project management, analytical and numerical skills
– Target focused with a strong desire to succeed and make a real difference
– Dynamic, motivated, energetic and dedicated to continuous development and growth
– Creative thinker with an innate commercial understanding
– Excited by our products and keen to execute a rapid sales growth for them; an interest in design a bonus
– Experience in executing digital strategies in both UK and international markets beneficial
