Salary: £33,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)


The mission for the Head of Acquisition is to set and lead our UK and International digital acquisition strategy, increasing customer acquisition growth across various channels to propel us towards global market leadership.

Role Overview

Working across our three brands, Murals Wallpaper, Atrafloor and Milexa, your work will be aimed at driving rapid acquisition growth that establishes each of our websites as the world’s number one destination for their respective products.

You will define and lead the acquisition strategy for the business, working across priority channels and key international markets. You will build your acquisition team to help deliver this, and work with other talented members of the Growth Team to create a holistic strategy that drives continued business performance and growth.

You will be building on triple digit year-on-year growth, and we expect this trend to continue over the next 18-24 months, with acquisition playing a major contributing role.

Role Objectives & Outcomes/Goals

You will be tasked with achieving the following outcomes in this role:

– Create a strategy and action plan for acquisition growth, including the structure of the team you will build.

– Achieve rapid customer acquisition growth at a positive ROI, across various channels and international markets.

– Increase lead conversion rate via retargeting and re-marketing efforts.

– Evolve our acquisition strategy into an international operation that matches UK performance levels.

– Ensure delivery of key metrics, including; customer acquisition growth, channel growth, CPA, ROMI, etc

Role Responsibilities

– Define and lead multi-channel acquisition strategy for the business, working across our three brands; Murals Wallpaper, Atrafloor and Milexa.

– Build, lead and manage the acquisition team to execute on your plans.

– Oversee all acquisition strategy and activity across all channels and major platforms, ensuring technical and creative activity is aligned to achieve strategic goals.

– Join the Milexa Growth Team and contribute at the strategic level to shape the company’s future trajectory, strategy and growth plans.

– Work in collaboration with Sales, Brand, Tech and Product managers to drive growth through the funnel and deliver a consistent and world leading brand experience.

– Ensure technical best practice is implemented at all times and the business is well positioned for future developments and new opportunities in the digital landscape.

– Oversee all paid media activity.

– Continually increase our brand awareness and exposure.

– Manage and produce reports, analysis and budgets.

– Work with and manage external agency partners and relationships.

Skills, Competencies Experience and Personal Attributes

– Experience in successfully leading multi-channel acquisition growth strategies, delivered at a strong ROI.

– Superb knowledge of organic search strategy; including on and off-page SEO, with a track record in delivering organic search growth.

– Deep knowledge of Paid Media and PPC; experience of executing rapid growth via Paid Media strategies.

– Analytical; the ability to take deep insights from large data sources and turn them into clear and effective actions to drive growth.

– Highly proficient in digital marketing tools including GA, Adwords, WMT, SEMrush, etc.

– Customer focus; ability to identify and target existing and new customer groups effectively.

– Ability to build, manage and lead a team to successfully deliver your growth strategy, whilst maintaining momentum, good morale and overall clarity through strong communication.

– Experience working effectively with wider stakeholders and teams, such as, CRO, UX, Web Dev, Brand, Content, Sales.

– A solid understanding of brand and the significant role it plays in a growth strategy.

– Experience in leading international or multilingual acquisition campaigns beneficial.
