The Digital Strategist role is to land and expand clients, by that we mean to win new clients and grow their value to the agency by delivering sound strategic advice to help them achieve (and over achieve) their digital ambitions. You will also work with a number of existing customers in the same vain. You will have reporting responsibility for an Account Manager who will assist you in the day to day running of your key accounts and ensure that the strategy is implemented on time and profitably to Prodo.
You will also have reporting responsibility for your own SDR (Sales Development Representative) who will provide you with prospective new customers who you will nurture through our pipeline, which usually culminates in a pitch proposal or competitive tender situation.
To be an expert in Inbound Marketing and to work closely with the Inbound delivery team to devise the best Inbound Strategy to deliver the clients objectives.
To be an expert in Digital Transformation and web development technologies to allow you to align our services to meet the customers needs.
Be the face of Prodo, being able to bring the capability and expertise within Prodo to prospects and clients to reassure them that we are the best option for realising their digital ambitions.
Understand the digital marketing landscape alongside the broader commercial realities and consider opportunities at a strategic level for both Prodo and its prospects and clients.
Delivering digital consultancy to prospects and clients that excites and convinces individuals at different levels that we are the agency of choice.
Own and develop relevant prospects and oversee the successful take up of strategies that you recommend. Your contribution will be key to sustaining growth for Prodo and you will be central to this.

Role Responsibilities
• Manage your SDR to ensure that you achieve the relevant number of calls, qualified leads, proposals and contracts.
• Manage your Account Manager to ensure that the implementation of the strategy is delivered and that there is a key focus on achieving the client targets whilst maintaining profitability to Prodo.
• Maximize Prodo profitability with sales generated from both new and existing clients.
• Undertake work required to win new business, from PQQs to ITTs, proposals to pitches right through to final negotiations and successful contracting.
• Analyse performance of client campaigns & make recommendations to improve them, ensuring that the client gets monthly reports which contain strong insight with recommendations based on data.
• Present quarterly strategic reviews with your clients, making recommendations for amends to the strategy.
• Ensure that all new projects or campaigns are well briefed and handed over into the business
• Ensure that all prospecting work is of the highest quality and responds to the brief.
• Ensure that our pitches remain ahead of the competition and excite our prospects and clients.
• Utilise all teams to deliver comprehensive proposals that reflect what we can do.
• Look at things from a customer perspective to say ‘so what’ i.e. how does this benefit me if I were the customer and then build our offering around that.
• Consistently deliver to a sales target.
• To stay fully qualified and certified in all tools and channels used by Prodo as required.

Personal Requirements
• Agency experience preferably in account management or business development capacity. Suitable client-side experience would be considered.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with individuals of various levels and backgrounds such as, Directors and senior and junior management, both technical and non-technical.
• A passion for digital and an ability to communicate and enthuse others with that passion
